Private Chef required in Mykonos for a Private Household - Family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 boys aged 17 (twins) plus guests. There is a lovely couple who will help with all serving, clearing and shopping etc. The chef is required to be on call every day throughout the duration, however - The family will go out for 5-8 meals per week (lunch/dinner) and there will be short stints where they travel and are not at the villa. This role is for a truly professional and experienced private chef that has done similar roles before, and has a very high standard of cooking clean, healthy and varied dishes.
Guest numbers will vary 4-6 extra at a time, but not all the time. There will be occasional lunches on the clients boat which are prepped for by the chef which the family will take with them in the morning.
The style of food: Fresh, healthy mediterranean style food with variety offered and flexibility is essential. An easy going attitude and the ability to work in a large open plan kitchen is important.
Breakfast around 9/10am for the two adults - simple eggs and yoghurt, then a later bfast around 10/11am for the boys which would be fruit platter and hot bfast Lunch at 3pm Dinner at 10pm, with snacks/nibbles before hand which can be things like parmesan chunks, home made dips and veg etc. There are two people who help with all service, but the chef will need to help with cleaning the kitchen/kitchen equipment etc To be expected to work every day throughout the stint, but they do go out alot so when they are not there is when you can take downtime - beach is a nearby walk (15mins) Accommodation is provided in the house on the ground floor which is own room and en suite bathroom, this is in the main house of the clients They have someone who will do the shopping for you so no need to drive, you just give them a list All return travel is covered The client is happy to confirm menus 2-3 days in advance, please be aware there may be occasional last minute changes so flexibility is key The family are based in London so can trial a chef if the chef is based in London
The family can be slightly flexible with dates but ideally are looking for someone to cover the majority of the booking. A High Standard of presentation and skill is required, so please only apply if you have done jobs like this before and can provide contactable verbal references from similar jobs/clients.
