A live in, or live out, calm, organised, flexible and experienced cook/chef is required to cook in a private household over the Christmas period. This job is best suited to someone experienced that has done these jobs before, and is able to come in and get on with things without too many questions. The candidate must also be flexible to work to any last minute changes or requests. There will be 10 people staying in the house, with possibly 3-4 more for Christmas Day lunch and a potential drinks party. There will be a Housekeeper helping with serving and clearing. The cook will need to be happy to do all shopping, cooking, menu planning, presenting the food, washing up kitchen items and keeping the kitchen organised and clean.
A friendly cook will be required from the beginning of November to the end of January on the most beautiful, rural traditional Estate in Dumfries and Galloway. The role would be to cook for the family and various shoots (some let days, some family/friend days). The family would also like the cook to work for them over the NEW YEAR period, but not for New Year (the cook can take Christmas off and come back from 28th December and work over New Year).
