Ideally the same cook for both dates - cook must enjoy working in rural Scotland and must have cooked in Scotland before with proven contactable references.

A good capable cook / chef is required for a privately owned Estate in Scotland. Cooking for family and guests, but really good quality food is required, and good presentation. It is important the chef is capable and experienced, and happy to follow the clients requests and likes/dislikes. It is also essential you are happy working in a team and get on well with the long term family staff members.

To do breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and 3 course dinners for approx. 12-14 people. The chef will just be in control of the menus, cooking and presenting/serving the food and washing up of kitchen stuff and keeping kitchen clean – there will be other staff to help with laying, serving and clearing tables etc. It is really important the chef has good experience working in private homes and is capable and able to come up with great menus which are always different - some traditional Scottish Lodge food to be enjoyed as well as some more modern food, but not too exotic/spicy! Must be able to cook fresh fish/lobster and happy to work in a rural location for the duration. Food must have that ‘wow’ factor, something better than what they could do themselves. Important you have a good selection of food photos and menus showcasing your food to present to the client. A car can be provided and a driver is not essential, but preferred. 2 bed cottage provided on the estate for the duration of the job.
