We’re seeking experienced private chefs who can provide freelance cover in a UHNW household in London. The family would also be interested in hiring someone on a permanent basis if it was the right fit. There will be weekend shifts required.

The upcoming (important) dates are:

• February half term: to arrive beginning of Feb (to be ready for Principals arrival) – 21 February - in Courchevel

• Additional ad-hoc dates throughout 2026 to fill in for the other household chef in South Kensington, London

The required style is beautifully executed, simple, healthy food – nothing Michelin or overly complex, but still refined, elegant, and consistently excellent. The family particularly enjoy Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, and ideally we’d like someone with a strong interest in nutrition, seasonal ingredients, and presentation, plus confidence with baking (breads, cakes, desserts, and daily treats). Someone who can offer variety and adapt to the needs of the client is essential.

A super experienced, adaptable chef that is happy to work weekend shifts when needed is required for a family of six plus nannies and household staff, usually 10–12 people for lunch and dinner, so strong organisation, time management, and consistency are key. To work closely with a sous chef - you must be able to work well in a team, this is a fully staffed and busy household. You must also like/be happy with working around young children and dogs.

The right chefs will be:

•⁠ ⁠Attentive to detail and committed to following a detailed preference sheet precisely

•⁠ ⁠Passionate about creating food that is light, fresh, balanced, and beautifully presented

Day rate will depend on experience. Really excellent, modern style menus from around the globe required, along with an excellent portfolio of food images.
