A friendly cook will be required from the beginning of November to the end of January on the most beautiful, rural traditional Estate in Dumfries and Galloway. The role would be to cook for the family and various shoots (some let days, some family/friend days). The family would also like the cook to work for them over the Christmas period, but not for New Year (the cook can take this off and come back for the last few shoots in January).

The cook must be a driver, with a car and must enjoy rural life and living on a Traditional Rural Estate and be happy in that environment. Accommodation will be provided (rent and bill free). Best suited to a single individual with no pets. This job would suit a cook (who could be newly trained) but is passionate about producing good food that is seaonal, and that looks and tastes amazing. They should be comfortable working in a private client family environment, with a lot of interaction directly with the client and staff members. Must be confident enough to cook for large shoot parties, and must be able to use your initiative. A friendly personality, who is flexible and happy to get stuck in would suit this job.
