Cook needed - ASAP for a week - 10 days in Cumbria, really lovely place in The Lake District. To cook for a lady who has just started immunotherapy (cancer treatment) and she is very tired. Nutritious vegan meals required - she needs to put on weight and just needs someone there to cook healthy, nutritious food for her. She can have some organic chicken and fish as well. Her husband eats anything. It will be just her and her husband, with occasional possible visits from her three grown up children, the cook needs to be flexible if the numbers change. This is not a formal job - just someone to help her with the food prep and do it for her - she does not have the energy to hand hold (so you need to have some idea of what you are doing), but also it is not a stressful job and she can provide guidance and recipes. Aga and Electric oven in the kitchen. Driver not essential as there are two people who can run the cooks to the shops. Car not essential if you have a driving licence as there is a car at the house you can use. No house work. Just cooking. Accommodation available. Some evenings you can just leave dinner there prepped and finish. 5 x daschunds in the house that bark, the cook must like dogs. Can get train to Penrith and be picked up. Lovely veg from the garden to make use of, loads of herbs and salad etc. Bfast, lunch, juices smoothies and prep dinner.
