A good capable cook is required for a Scottish lodge in Kinlochewe, IV22. The cook does not need to be local (they can fly and hire a car/drive) but must be a driver. This is for a privately owned home that the clients use for holidays.

8-12 people - including children, but they will all eat together (the children are all old enough to eat together). Breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. Maximum of 12 people. The cook will need to be happy to menu plan, shop, cook, present food and keep kitchen clean and tidy. They will also need to assist with some plate clearing/laying tables, although there is a nanny and housekeeper who will also help with this. The cook must be happy to wash up their own pots/pans etc and keep the kitchen organised and tidy.

Cooked breakfasts, plus fruit/continental etc, lunches might either be picnic lunches for them to take out (depending on what they are doing) or in the house (1 course plus cheese/brownies/ice cream), the occasional cake for tea enjoyed (flapjacks/cake/brownies), canape in the evening before dinner (just one type), then 2-3 courses for dinner (such as salady starter, curry main and lemon tart pudding - but number of courses will depend on menu).

There is an AGA, then another normal oven and hob. Two dishwashers and two fridges. The cook must enjoy working in Scotland and enjoy rural life!
