A cook is required for up to 12 people from 9th August - 1st September 2024 for shooting Estate in Argyllshire. Guests will be arriving from 10th August, with grouse shooting starting 12th August.

Cook must be happy working on a rural Scottish Estate, enjoy the countryside and happy to work as part of a team. The cook must be happy to do their own washing up, be organised and able to cope with fluctuating numbers and large groups.

Meals required will be cooked bfast, lunch to be taken onto the hill (including piece of home made fruit cake), afternoon tea (always have drop scones) plus another cake, canapes and starter and main and cheese - occasionally pudding as well but rarely.

Cook needs to be competent and able to work tidily and efficiently. Must be able to do their own shopping and menu plan along with the clients requests. Food should be presented really well - usually plated style in the evenings, but the cook should be happy to do either platter style food or plated. Must be able to cook game, other meats and fish well and make use of the produce available in a rural location.

Accommodation provided on site - separate cottage attached to the hosue with kitchen, TV, bedroom, bathroom and wifi. Cook must be a driver with their own car. The cook must be able to commit to the whole stint, and be happy to work every day for the duration of the stint.
