#1318 - Live in Housekeeper - Wimbledon - to start June or September 2024

A live in Housekeeper is required for a family of 4 – consisting of two adults and two children (twin boys age 11) plus a dog. Accommodation is provided on site which is a newly renovated furnished one bedroom, one sitting room and bathroom property adjacent to the main house.

The property is a large, 7 bedroom, 15,000 Sq Foot family home and the housekeeper will be required to keep the entire household clean to a 5* standard. The housekeeper will have sole responsibility for the cleaning, washing, ironing, bed changes, deep cleans, organisation of the entire household and assisting with all ad hoc duties as requested by the client. A thorough and exacting standard is essential. It is important the housekeeper is physically fit and active due to the size of the property.

It is essential that the housekeeper is dog friendly as the family dog enjoys company and the housekeeper will be required to assist with the dog at times when the family are out.

The main days of work will be Monday to Friday day time hours (9am – 5pm) with occasional requests to assist if the family are having a dinner party and need help in the evening. Occasional Babysitting will also be required.

This job is best suited to a professional, discreet, hardworking and flexible Housekeeper with previous private household experience who is looking for longevity in their role and to settle with a family for a long time. It is not essential that the housekeeper is a driver, but would be a bonus if they can drive.

The family will also consider a couple (no children or pets), one half to be the housekeeper, and the other to do maintenance and upkeep inside and outside of the property. Important that the candidate is settled and happy to stay in the accommodation in their downtime and when the family are away.

Salary dependent upon expectation and experience. Previous private household experience essential and previous employment references essential.
