We are seeking an exceptional, experienced, and discreet Live-Out Housekeeper to join a high-end private household. This is a hands-on role requiring the highest standards of housekeeping, organisation, and service.
In addition to maintaining the home to a meticulous standard, the role includes basic family cooking, household shopping and errands, and occasional supervision of two older children (aged 12 and 15). The ideal candidate will be proactive, polished, and able to manage their responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
• Daily cleaning and upkeep of a high-end residence to immaculate standards
• Care of fine furnishings, delicate fabrics, and specialist surfaces
• Laundry and ironing to a high standard, including wardrobe organisation
• Bed making and linen care
• Maintaining organisation across all household areas
• Monitoring and replenishing household supplies
Household Support & Errands
• Managing grocery shopping and household errands efficiently
• Running ad hoc errands as required
• Liaising with suppliers or service providers when needed
Basic Cooking
• Preparing fresh, healthy, family-style meals
• Light meal prep and kitchen organisation
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen
• Following specific dietary preferences where required
Childcare (Occasional)
• Supervising two well-mannered children aged 12 and 15
• Supporting with school routines
• School runs and transporting to activities as required
• Acting as a responsible and positive presence in the home
Candidate Requirements
• Proven experience in a high-end or private household
• Excellent housekeeping standards with strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of luxury fabrics and specialist cleaning methods
• Confident home cook
• Full, clean driving licence (essential)
• Experience with older children preferred
• Highly organised and able to work independently
• Discreet, trustworthy, and professional
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent, checkable references
Working Hours Monday–Friday, occasional overnights required - a flexible attitude is needed
Package
up to £60,000/annum

You will need to be a driver with a car to get to the location, as this is a live out role. Full eligibility to live and work in the UK is required.
