A live out Housekeeper for a large private home near Newbury is required.

Working alongside a small household team based at a private home near Newbury, this role is full time. The family are in residence 70% of the time. You will be required to change bedding, ensure the houses are clean and tidy at all times along with helping with ad-hoc assistance to the Butlers and Chef. You will not be required to cook but may be required to assist with washing up post-meals for the family. The family employ a full-time housekeeper whose main responsibility is the laundry. There may be occasions where help is required in this department too, however.

The family are open to hiring someone new to this industry that is very flexible and willing to learn, but who has good attention to detail and can work to the required standards.

Essential:

Experience in private domestic cleaning or housekeeping - training can be given but you must enjoy cleaning and working thoroughly and to high standards
Experience working with high value items / precious fabrics - not essential but the willingness to learn is essential
Driving licence and own car to get in and out of work
Able to work independently and manage time efficiently Honest, discreet, and consistently reliable
Takes genuine pride in maintaining a beautiful home Must be happy to work weekends

Hours: 40 hours per week - 5 days per week, Wednesday - Sunday. 08:00am – 16:00pm (roughly) Salary: £28,000 - £30,000k per annum DOE Live out.
