A capable butler/house manager (or just a temporary butler to join the team from Oct - Dec) is required on a temporary basis for a large private formal household in Dorset, but this could go permanent for the right applicant. Accommodation is available.

The appropriate candidate will have experience working in Formal, large private homes, be familiar with shooting estates, experienced working with UHNW individuals, and able to cope in a calm way under pressure. The candidate must enjoy being in a service role, and have many years of hospitality experience, and must have previously worked in private homes. The candidate should be able to manage a team well and ensure that operations are run smoothly.

During the Principals visits, the hours are likely to be longer than periods when the Principal is not in residence - and it is important that the individual is flexible with this and used to working in fast paced environments in large traditional formal homes. Formal, silver service is required and it is essential the candidate has plenty of previous experience doing this.

There is a permanent, full time opportunity for this position for the right applicant. You must be a driver, have full eligibility to live and work in the UK, and happy living and working in a rural environment.
