An experienced, mature live in nanny is required for all round help and mothers support in a beautiful property in the countryside not too far from London. It is essential the candidate is willing to live in (in the countryside), work weekends (two days off in the week) and must be a driver. The nanny will have sole charge, and shared care and must be happy with both.
A friendly, flexible and capable cook is required for a busy private fully staffed household based in Hampshire, with travel. It is important the cook is happy to work weekends, and is also available to travel with the clients to various locations including London, Italy, Switzerland and South Africa.
A multi generational family are looking for a live in couple to maintain a large property in a village near to Winchester, which they visit on an ad hoc basis – mainly during the summer months and one 14 year old daughter comes home from boarding school for some weekends. She will need to be cared for, cooked for and laundry done. For longer holidays she goes back to the principal family home in America. The property should be kept presentable and guest ready at all times.
A Private Permanent Cook is required to manage the running of the cooking and kitchen in a large private household on a beautiful rural Estate. The candidate must also be happy to do housekeeping when the demands in the kitchen are not busy, so the candidate needs to be flexible to turn their hand to laundry, cleaning, housekeeping and organising etc (working alongside the housekeeping team, so do not need to be an expert in this regard, just need to be flexible). This is a really wonderful opportunity for a capable private cook looking to settle into a permanent position living on the Estate, where a house suitable for family/pet is offered. You will report to the Principals and/or House Manager. This is a WEEKEND position - the family are in residence generally Thursday - Sunday, so it is important the cook is happy to work weekends. There will also be two weeks in August when the cook will need to travel with the family and cook for them in Scotland. The cook will also need to expect to work over Easter and Christmas. During the school holidays, the principals may be in residence more regularly, but during the week it is just a weekend residence. Days off for the cook would be during the week.
Working alongside a small household team based at a private home near Newbury, this role is full time. The family are in residence 70% of the time. You will be required to change bedding, ensure the houses are clean and tidy at all times along with helping with ad-hoc assistance to the Butlers and Chef. You will not be required to cook but may be required to assist with washing up post-meals for the family. The family employ a full-time housekeeper whose main responsibility is the laundry. There may be occasions where help is required in this department too, however.
A live in housekeeper/cook is required for a large 2nd home near Winchester. The candidate must be happy to cook when the family are in residence (this would be good home cooking, nothing fancy) but also needs to be happy to do the housekeeping side, keeping the property guest ready at all times when the family are not in residence.
