Dinner party – Saturday 29th June in private home in Notting Hill.
12 – 20 people (TBC) (if over 16 people they may need to hire a few glasses, crockery etc).
There is a communal garden party in the day and the client would like to have a relaxed evening meal at their house for her guests. The client has done this event annually and previously had private chefs, Bill Granger, River café etc. They would like something quite relaxed such as canapes, followed by Mexican buffet evening and a table of puddings for people to help themselves to.
If it is a nice evening they may eat outside under a gazebo, if not so nice then will eat inside. Huge kitchen available with large surface space, large oven, combi steam oven, induction hobs, warming drawers etc. Kitchen is closed off to all guests.
Preparation – they would like chef to prepare as much beforehand at the aim of only arriving 1-2hours prior to event to prepare remaining bits.
Chef needs to be experienced, organised, tidy, quick and work ok under a little bit of pressure. No shellfish. They are Swedish so like food reasonably clean and healthy. Staff – most likely need a few waiters.
