A cook is required for a busy working couple based in Primrose Hill who are looking for healthy meals to last a week, on a weekly basis on a Monday morning.
You will need to have your own fully hygiene registered equipped kitchen to cook the meals in and then do a weekly delivery of 6 meals once a week.
You must have a passion for producing SEASONAL, HEALTHY dishes and be creative to keep producing new and interesting meals. They don’t just want the same thing day in day out, but if there is a particular dish they love then they would be keen to have it again.
There are a few diet requirements which include limited dairy, no beef, no green peppers, low carbs (prefer cauli rice instead of brown rice, courgetti instead of pasta etc) and more details can be specified.
You can either cook in the clients kitchen (they do not have a dishwasher) or your own registered kitchen and deliver. They would like six meals with four portions each once a week. So, for two people that would be three meals with two repeats (dinner) and three meals with two repeats (lunch). The client has pyrex containers for the dinners and plastic takeaway boxes for the lunches. They do not require puddings, but full meals - with a side etc, and with always a preference for healthy.
You must be a freelance chef and able to commit to this role alongside your other interests/jobs. You MUST Have done similar jobs, have an excellent portfolio of photos of your cooking and excellent references. You need to be reliable and commit to a set day once a week for the clients as they are too busy for the day to keep changing.
The couple travel quite a bit and will let the cook know in advance their travel dates and when the cook is not required. They may have the occasional dinner party and/or birthday and will require extra food on these occasions.
£25 per hour and £100 weekly food budget.
