A fun, upbeat, hardworking and flexible chalet chef is required for a family run ski company based in Morzine. You will be working in a chalet providing breakfast (cooked and continental), afternoon tea (cakes etc), childrens supper (if required) and 3-4 course dinners 6 days a week plus canapes on the first and last night.
The chalet is rented out to paying guests and there will be a changeover of guests each week. You will have a host working with you in the chalet. This job would be suitable for someone who has just completed a cooking course and is looking to get going with their cooking career.
You must be able to drive and have held a driving licence for at least 3 years, have a National Insurance number and UK bank account. You should be able to work well in a team, and enjoy a team atmosphere. You will be living with the team in a shared apartment and most likely sharing a room with another member of the team.

You cooking skills should be good and presenting a 3 course plated meal shouldn't faze you - you should be competent and feel confident to menu plan, cook for specific diet requirements, stick to budgets and manage stock control. You will also be in charge of keeping your kitchen clean and tidy and doing all the shopping for the food.
You should be flexible and appreciate that working a ski season is hard work and you may often have to work outside of your 'job description' so a good fun loving but hardworking and professional cook is required!
Approx £1000 gross per month plus ski pass and ski hire, accommodation for the entire season, food budget and insurance. Bonus at the end of the season for successful candidates.
