Permanent Chef - Monday to Friday - Notting Hill - Food start up company

A Permanent chef is required to join a small but growing team for an exciting food start up that has a main focus on delivering office lunches around London. The company also has an outside event arm, and have also started to supply some of their products to local cafes and bakeries.

Currently the team is made up of 3 people - the owner and two other chefs. The owner is looking for an experienced cook/chef to come in who is able to take charge over the kitchen and menus, use their initiative and be creative with coming up with exciting and interesting menus that will be popular.

Currently they always have a vegan option, and other options as well and they have a commercial kitchen in the process of being built, based in Notting Hill. The food is delivered around London for office lunches/meetings.

The company also offer bowl food/canape events in the evenings for offices/meetings - so the chef would need to prepared to help prep food for these events and come along to the events if required (but not always essential).

Monday to Friday, 8am to 3pm (longer hours available when events on).

£14/hour - 20 days holiday plus bank holidays. To be paid either on a payroll (with statutory pension allowance) or self employed basis, depending on chef preference. A stake in the business is offered for successful applicants once a good relationship has been established and the chef has proved an active interest in growing the business forward.
