Creative and committed assistant cook required to work alongside a head chef in a high end shooting lodge. This is for the duration of the winter season from September - January. Ideal start date will be September, but there is a degree of flexibility for the right person.
You will be working alongside the head chef but taking ownership of preparing shoot lunches for the guests. They cook with all locally sourced, fresh, seasonal produce. The head chef is very experienced and this would be an excellent opportunity to learn off the head chef.
Cleanliness in the kitchen and excellent presentation is essential. Hours tend to be 8am-4pm 5-6 days a week depending on bookings. Hours will vary but you need to manage your own time. You should either be a professional looking to work more independently or a confident new starter. You must be a team player/confident in kitchen and a happy, motivated individual. You should have good time management and an excellent work ethic.
This opportunity offers a vast range of learning and development and is a friendly and fun working environment, although the standards for the guests are high.
To start in September (flexible on Start date) till the end of January. Accommodation can be provided if required. You should be a driver and have your own car and must be happy to live in a rural environment in the winter time.
Salary in the region of £26-32K depending on experience, plus tips.
