Permanent Chef/cafe consultant for start up in Battersea, London - To start ASAP - £28-34,000 per annum

A capable and experienced chef that has a passion for modern, healthy food trends is required to help with kitchen/menu development, cooking and chef training for a new cafe opening in Battersea. 

We are looking for someone with experience in setting up all kitchen processes, menu development, health and safety procedures etc. The owner is looking for someone who really gets the menu/ethos. The menu will include a healthy British / American / Australian all day brunch style menu more than anything but it can be adapted accordingly depending on the suitable candidates ideas.

You should be creative and really keen to get involved in this exciting start up. As this is a new launch, days and opening hours are not yet set in stone. The interior style of the venue is modern, trendy and relaxed/informal. This would be a fantastic and fun place to get really stuck into!

Eventually they would like it to be all day dining but they aim to increase organically over time and open according to demand.

Weekend brunches will be their main goal, to become the 'go to' place in the area. They would also be keen to have some private parties in the lead up to Christmas. 

They are looking for someone flexible who wants to grow with the company - it will be a small team initially with hopefully more sites in the future and therefore the right person can really get their feet under the table if they are the right fit.
