Job filled - Christmas Cook - Near Graz, Austria - 21st to 27th December 2017

A really nice Christmas cook is required for a lovely family in Austria. 5-8 Adults and 4-9 children (there will be a total of 8 adults and 9 children from 24th onwards). Children are all aged under 4 years, and there will also be a nanny to help at meal times (with cutting up food, putting on bibs etc).

You should be a capable cook, but very child and dog friendly (they have a black labrador). The kitchen is open plan with electric ovens (no gas), and they eat in the kitchen area, so you must be confident and happy for people to be around. This also means you should be a tidy and organised cook and not mind a bit of chaos and noisy children around!

Breakfast, lunch, childrens tea and supper. Lunch to be things like soup/shepherds pie, dinner slightly more elaborate. Christmas day is traditional Christmas lunch (English traditional) with all trimmings, and on Christmas Eve they would like a slightly more special dinner. They are quite relaxed, no particular diet requirements. They really need a flexible and happy person, who is happy with doing clearing and washing up as well as cooking (although all the family will also muck in).

The family all speak English, so you do not have to speak Austrian. There is a car you can drive if you need to go to the shops, but driving is not essential.

£150/day on all days apart from 25/26 December which is circa £375/day but it does depend on your experience. Travel costs all covered and accommodation in a lodge next door to the house, shared with the nanny. Own room and bathroom.
